Ulcer Treatment

Epidermal growth factors were obtained by genetic bioengineering and used in the healing of burns, post-peeling applications or incorporated into cosmetics. Later, its application in dentistry and implant surgery led to the development of a method of obtaining from the patient’s own blood, for the regeneration of all types of soft tissues, such as the epidermis.

Ulcerations of the lower extremities are a common complication in a wide range of pathologies and have a negative impact on the quality of life of affected patients. Taking into account that the lesions are persistent because of the reduced or null capacity of healing and tissue regeneration by the patient.

Progressive administration of PRGF (Rich Plasma in Growth Factors) as a regulator of the biological process of healing and tissue regeneration represents a new therapeutic approach to the treatment of these chronic lesions.
